Project Manager

The Project Manager oversees the administrative, managerial, and communication aspects of the foundation, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and strategic growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute the overall strategy of the foundation.

  • Manage all administrative tasks and oversee the execution and monitoring of foundation projects.

  • Build and maintain relationships with donors, partners, and the local community.

  • Mentor and manage the foundation's team to ensure high performance.

  • Monitor budgets and ensure financial sustainability and accountability.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in project management or nonprofit leadership.

  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in Spanish and English.

Educational Director

The Educational Director leads all educational initiatives, including curriculum development, student recruitment, teacher management, and the coordination of apprenticeships and technical training.

Responsibilities:

  • Set strategic educational goals and oversee the design and development of training programs.

  • Recruit, manage, and guide trainers, teachers, and volunteers.

  • Manage student recruitment, orientation, and mentoring processes.

  • Deliver some courses and ensure high-quality learning experiences.

  • Coordinate internships and hands-on learning opportunities for students.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in education, curriculum design, and team leadership.

  • Fluency in Spanish; English proficiency is a plus.

  • Passion for working with young adults and fostering community growth.

Volunteers

Make a difference by volunteering with La Fábrica de Sueños! Help with micro-projects across various areas like education, farming, crafts, and community activities.

Details:

  • Minimum commitment: 3 months.

  • Work schedule: 6 hours/day, 5 days/week.

  • Provided: Food and accommodation.

Requirements:

  • Fluency in Spanish.

  • Team-oriented, adaptable, and motivated to make an impact.

Program-Specific Roles

  • Eco-Lodge Manager: Oversee all aspects of the eco-lodge, from planning and construction to daily operations.

  • Chef/Cook: Plan and prepare meals using locally sourced and organic ingredients, accommodating different dietary needs.

  • Housekeeping Instructor: Ensure the eco-lodge is clean and tidy, managing the cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and bathrooms.

  • Maintenance Instructor: Perform routine maintenance tasks and ensure the eco-lodge is in good working order.

  • Workshop Instructor: Teach woodworking skills and create furniture and other artwork, catering to all skill levels.

  • Gardeners/Farmers: Plan, plant, and maintain the organic garden using permaculture principles and sustainable farming practices.

  • Marketing/Communications Specialist: Promote the eco-lodge and attract guests through digital marketing, social media, and content creation.
